Avoid Stress
Stress can have many negative effects on your life.
What causes your stress and what can you do in the future to cope?
TIPS:
Stress is a common feeling that builds up over time. Too
many responsibilities, work demands, combined with life stressors can leave us feeling exhausted. Bodies cope with stress by making stress hormones, but you can reduce negative effects by practicing stress-reducing strategies.
TRY:
. Removing yourself from the stressful situation.
. Talking to someone about what's going on.
. Avoiding things that make you feel stressed.
. Saying no. If your feel overwhelmed, don't take on any more tasks.
. Relaxation techniques like deep breathing, meditation or massage.
. Exercising and eating a healthy diet.
. Getting plenty of sleep.
. Limiting the amount of caffeine and alcohol you consume.
. Getting your mind off of your stressor by having fun!
