The next time you feel compassion tugging at your heart, answer with a resounding yes. Give generously of your time, your resources, and your energy. But most of all, give of your heart. Ask God what part you should play in aiding someone in need. Your part may be as simple as weeping with those who weep or offering a heartfelt prayer on another's behalf. When you allow God's compassion to flow through you into the lives of others, you'll not only help change their lives for the better, but your own as well.
